Visitors to this year’s Lake Forest Showhouse & Gardens get to see the home of the late movie icon John Hughes Jr., who wrote and directed films like “The Breakfast Club,” “16 Candles” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and the display of great interior design, architecture and landscaping. Schmechtig Landscapes is proud to be a part of this year’s showhouse.
